Story
How I started making metal signs...
It all started back in high school, in welding class of all places. I had this idea stuck in my head—I wanted to make a Montana State Bobcat sign. The only problem? I knew there wasn’t enough time in class to pull it off. So, I took matters into my own hands… or rather, into my grandpa’s garage.
He had all the essentials: a plasma cutter, one solid welder, and even an oxy-fuel torch (which looked cool, but honestly, I only used it once). The plasma cutter quickly became my best friend. I spent hours out there—cutting, tweaking, messing up, fixing it, and then finally finishing my sign. When I hung that piece up in my room, it felt like I’d just built a trophy.
After a few weeks of admiring my work, a thought hit me: What if I could actually make money doing this? So, I started posting my projects online, reached out to some friends, and to my surprise… people were into it. I sold a few, then a few more. And just like that, I was hooked.
Since then, my grandpa’s garage has basically become my workshop. I’ve been turning raw metal into custom signs ever since—and loving every second of it.
